Most dog booster seats are foam wrapped in polyester. This one is built from scratch-resistant faux leather over a high-density sponge core — the kind of thing that actually looks like it belongs in the car rather than something you’re trying to hide under a blanket.
It sits on the back seat, straps to the headrest and seatback so it can’t shift, and gives small to medium dogs an elevated, windowed view of wherever you’re going. The high side walls do the work a harness can’t: they stop the sliding and spinning that makes anxious dogs worse on long trips.
Two products in one
Unzip the front panel and it folds flat into a portable pet bed. Take it out of the car and it works in a hotel room, at a campsite, or in a holiday rental where the “no dogs on the furniture” rule is strictly enforced. One item in the boot instead of two.
Why this faux leather booster seat travels well
- Faux leather shell. Wipe it down with a damp cloth. Hair doesn’t embed the way it does in fabric, and the surface doesn’t absorb wet-dog smell.
- Silicone non-slip base. Grips the seat rather than sliding with every corner. Reinforced straps loop around the headrest for a secondary anchor.
- Removable cushion. Unzip the inner, throw it in the machine, air dry. The shell stays in the car and is clean in minutes with a wipe.
- Storage pocket on the side. Lead, ball, poo bags, treats — somewhere to put them that isn’t the footwell.
- Widened carry handles. Reinforced and comfortable to carry as a bag when you’re heading somewhere your dog will actually sleep in it.
Will it suit my dog?
At 55 × 50 × 45 cm it suits small to medium dogs — think Cavoodle, Beagle, French Bulldog, Cocker Spaniel, smaller Labradoodle. If your dog weighs over 15 kg and likes to sprawl, a flat boot liner is a better fit than a booster.
